BLEPHAROPLASTY

EYELID SURGERY (BLEPHAROPLASTY)

An eyelid surgery is also commonly known as “Blepharoplasty”. It is a surgical procedure that can be performed on either the upper, or the lower lids, or both at the same time. It aims to improve the appearance of the eyelids and beautify the eyes.

DID YOU KNOW?

A blepharoplasty can be done under local anesthesia and patients can head back home the same day. Your plastic surgeon can advise and guide you through further details of the procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a blepharoplasty scar look like?
Similarly, to any other surgical procedure, some little scarring is to be expected with an eyelid surgery. However, it is as minimal as almost nonexistent in most blepharoplasty cases, after few months of healing.

Will an eyelid surgery also help remove wrinkles around my eyes?
It is not common for a blepharoplasty to provide the same result a facelift would. Ask your plastic surgeon for the procedure that best adapts to your expectations.
