When should I consider breast reduction surgery?
If you are suffering from neck, back and shoulder pain due to heavy breasts or if your breasts are disproportionately large to your body frame, if you are unhappy with the large appearance of your breasts, then it is advised you consult your plastic surgeon in regards to a mammoplasty.

Does breast reduction surgery provide a permanent result?
Yes, the result of such a procedure should remain permanent. However, note that if you happen to gain or lose considerable weight, it may affect the fat cells remaining in the breast tissue and hence affect the appearance of your breasts.

How long does breast reduction recovery take?
You will notice a loss in volume instantly after the surgery but swelling and bruising may take up to a few weeks to completely disappear. You are requested to rest for about a week and avoid exercise for three weeks.
