The procedure aims to reduce the sagging skin and tissue from the inner or outer thigh. A number of reasons such as weight loss, genetics and normal aging process can cause the skin to lose its firmness and sag. The surgery consists in removing the excess sagging tissues from the thigh and close by tightening the skin to reveal a firmer shape.

Where are the incisions (scars) performed?
The incision will be placed in the inner part of the thigh as it is the less visible site. Scar length will vary depending on how much tissue is being removed.
Is liposuction possible?
In most patients with skin sagging, performing a liposuction without removing the excess skin will not solve the problem. However, the liposuction is almost always used in combination to reduce the amount of fat before the excision of skin.
When can I see the result and return to sports?
Result is immediate. It will improve after a month when swelling will decrease. Patients should avoid intense activity for a period of one month for maximum healing.
