What is Juvederm and What is Its Aftercare

After the age of 30, your skin starts to show the signs of ageing more quickly than ever. Fine lines, wrinkles, loose skin gradually just shows up one day. You may apply multiple anti-ageing creams and formulas but everything stops working at one point. Then you need juvederm fillers. And to get them you first need to know about what actually a Juvederm filler is and what is Juvederm aftercare. Keep reading this to know better:

  • What are Juvederm fillers?

Juvederm is a dermal filler with hyaluronic acid. In the Juvederm family, there are various products. They all help people cope with the face and body signs of ageing. Each Juvederm product contains different bonds and hyaluronic concentration levels. When each product is infused into various areas and depths, it is tailored to target specific problems.

Juvederm uses its primary component, hyaluronic acid, to give volume to the face tissue. The natural material present in the human body is hyaluronic acid. It encourages connective tissue development which breaks the skin (collagen). The hyaluronic acid and collagen synthesis diminish when you become older. This enhances the appearance of facial skin decay and wrinkles.

  • Preparation in brief

Talk to a healthcare professional about your skincare objectives and priorities before a Juvederm treatment. Juvederm is completely painless and is often performed on the same day as the deliberation. The procedure is non - intrusive and requires little preparedness. But you still need to avoid having alcohol, smoking, Aspirin, Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs at least 7 days prior to the surgery. Ginseng, St Johns Wart, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, Gingko Biloba, and Garlic Before the surgery, 7-10 days. These medicines and plants might lead to excessive bleeding or hemorrhage. For three days before the appointment, eat at least 1 cup of fresh pineapple or pineapple juice. (It includes an enzyme that can help reduce bleeding and swelling). But the Juvederm aftercare is not that simple.

  • Post care of Juvederm fillers

You should understand that these pieces of advice are given by professional healthcare workers. To know more detail about them you need to visit your aesthetician absolutely. Now coming back to the Juvederm aftercare, follow the instructions mentioned below:

  • Bypass overheating such as steam rooms, hot showers, hot sun or cooking on a hot fireplace. This can lead to the dilation of blood vessels and more losing blood and bruising.

  • After the procedure, avoid intense exercise. This can increase heart rate and blood pressure, which causes more flushes and swells. You still can work out but at first start with some light yoga or light exercise. Doing cardio, or such exercises are strictly prohibited.

  • For longer lengths of time avoid direct sunlight. To protect your skin, wear a sun block. After bruising, sunlight can cause persistent discoloration. Mentioning it again to avoid excessive bleeding or bruising avoid going near any heat.

  • Evite 24 hours after therapy from consuming alcohol. Alcohol can dilate and induce greater bruising in the blood vessels. Avoid drinking straw straight after your treatment and for around two weeks after lips are treated.

  • Two weeks following treatment, no massages of the treated region or face in a massage crib. 2 weeks after the surgery should avoid consuming Advil, Vitamin E, Ginger, Gingko, Bilboa, Ginseng, and Garlic since this might enhance the risk of contusions. You can conduct most ordinary daily activities and you can shower.

  • Do not use make-up for 12 to 24 hours following the treatment.

  • If directed to do so by your clinician, you may use cold compresses or ice in the treatment areas to decrease swelling and bleeding.

  • Note that in a few hours, any bumps or marks from really little sticks are removed. It will resolve like any other bruise if you acquire a bruise. At times, the site of the injection is comparable to most other injections with slight discomfort, swell, itch or redness. Redness might persist 1-2 days, never longer.
